DRAWING IN TWO POINT PERSPECTIVE

The boys are understanding the rules around creating proportional two point perspective forms. 

THE STUDY OF COLOUR

This task challenges the students to learn and understand how using the right tools - artist's colour pencils - allows them to blend and make colours. This skills shows that mastery of using colour pencils is possible. 

At the same time creating three dimensions on a two dimensional surface is explored through shadow and highlight accentuating form. 

TRADITIONAL DESIGN UNIT - CREATING A PERSONAL LOGO - TWO COLOURS

The students were tasked with creating a visually effective two colour personal logo that was cut from coloured paper. 

This forms the front cover identifier for their Visual Journal.

2018 YEAR 8 VISUAL ART

There are three rotations through the three Arts subjects offered at TSS for the Year 8 cohort.

In the Visual Art program the students follow the same work  units therefore having the same educational learning experience preparing them for Year 9 Visual Art .
